Another spung bites the dust…this one leaves Paris Airport for some new adventures!

12000 kilometres further and 12 hours later…the spung finds a new home in São Paulo!

For this photo, we forgot the cachaça, how could we?…but one promise: this spung glass is already becoming a caipirinha expert!!!

Following the previous post which showed Paris only through the ‘light’ of its famous cemetary, I shrugged to return to Paris to carry out a round-up of the basics…so here we go!

So here I am…spunging on the Trocadero, under the Eifel Tour with hoards of camera-heavy Japanese tourists! …et Vive Paris!

A little ride on a French ‘fly boat’ (‘bâteau mouche’)? Hmmmm….let’s not push the tourist ride too far! The photo was taken from the ‘Austerlitz’ bridge, just a little reminder to any British tourist that Parisians won that battle…The Brits retaliated by naming their main London station ‘Waterloo’…

The Spung transmission took place on the hills of Kigali.

It was yet another bright day in the Loire Valley and we decided to go out for a little walk in the village of Les Ponts de Cé and enjoy the sights…

This castle used to be one of King René favourite ‘logis de detente’…where the King used to relax.

‘The good’ King René was the Duc of Anjou (where we are now) and first King of Naples (where he built the castle of Angers in miniature size).

King René contributed to bringing peace amongst the English and the French when he married his daughter Marguerite to King Henry IV of England in 1445.

Does this explain why so many Brits have decided to call the Loire valley home? Or is it just the good wine cellars?
