Père La Chaise tribute

With a Spung in my bag, one metro ticket and a couple of hours to spend in Paris, a tribute visit to the Père
LaChaise cemetary was a must. I apologize in advance to all those who might find the following blasphemous. It is by no means the purpose of this post…
“Passers-by give to the man of good a memory, to the family father a tear, to the citizen a regret”
Père LaChaise is an odd place; a mix between tourists and mourners. I believe that Henri Salavdor would have approved the spunging of these two Brazilians from Belem with one of his mesmorizing and inimitable laughs…Saude Henri!
OSCAR WILDE
Life is much too important a thing ever to talk seriously about it.”
- “Vera, of The Nihilists”
“The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.”
- “Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime”
“Young men want to be faithful and are not; old men want to be faithless and cannot.”
– “The Picture of Dorian Gray”
JIM MORRISON
One of the most visited graves of Paris invariably belongs to the lead singer of the Doors…
